Dear readers,

The last few weeks have been a very busy time for me mostly meeting my clients, drawing illustrations till late hours, collecting swatches from my supplier etc. I had been so consumed with my work that I didn’t realize I was a little run down, so in a way I needed to get away. Also, my sister is here from New Zealand and it was perfect time for us to travel together.

I love water. After all I am a water sign. I feel the stillness of the water soothes my restlessness and revives me. I have a fond memory and childhood connection with this lake. We used to come here frequently for family picnics, which in my mind is so perfect and special. During our summer holidays my parents with some of my extended family would hire boats and row to different bays. Once we reached there, we had lots of fun swimming, dancing, cooking and eating, taking pictures with our reeled cameras. So I remember all of this when I get there.

A major and unexpected event for me was discovering a really cool shop called Kafka in the neighbourhood. To find Kafka after my recent post on Camus was strange and exciting. The shop had so many embroidered things including varied shawl collections. The Kashmiri shopkeeper who had a delightful personality said he named his shop after reading Kafka’s works. I thought it was pretty cool.

Love & Luck
