Dear readers,

If you have been following my blog you might be aware about my interest in other areas of art and design. I think besides fashion design, I am interested in interior and décor. This two intertwine as well. As a child I remember being busy with drawing designs of houses when kids my age would be engaged with “Bhada kuti”, a Nepali term used for a game of household.

I have been thinking about this interest and I thought that if I wasn’t in my current profession, interior design is what I would like to be doing. That would definitely be my second career option. For instance, the spot where I have shot this pics is a small part of our study room. All the furnitures are self designed by my brother and we have invested a lot of thought, effort and time into creating the whole look. Our library consists of decades old books and magazines collected by my daddy, siblings and me over the years. And I believe interior and décor is not just related from an aesthetic point of view. It is so much to do with our being and how we take our everyday life. I believe that colors and space have an interesting role in defining our state of mind and character. I just wanted to share some of these things from my interest point of view.

On the other note, I have been really busy with some new ventures, which will be revealed in the coming days. I am excited to try and develop something new.
